Search for the partner’s name in the search bar.

Once the partner’s record is highlighted, we can choose from the below to set partner’s new marital status, merge dependents, override custom fields and addresses.

Then click Submit.

Split a Client Group

Splitting the client group is commonly used for separation or divorce, the couple will be split into two separate individual client groups.

Note:
- Joint assets and income will remain in each new client group.
- Any entities in the client group will remain with primary client.
- Any Cashflow and Capital scenarios based on a joint client group will be removed once split occurs, users need to make sure to keep on file of the joint scenarios if they wish as the scenarios will no longer be available after the split.

Users can select new marital status for the client.

Different from splitting the client group, deleting a spouse will mark the spouse individual record as inactive.
