This section of AdviceOS is comprised of legislative settings that include Centrelink rates, thresholds, tax rates for the current and previous financial years and other relevant caps.


These settings are inputs that do not vary from client to client. Changes at this level will flow down to each individual client and client analysis.

Any changes made to the global settings will flow through to all modules.

 

The Centrelink tab shows the legislation that is automatically applied to the advice modelling within AdviceOS. These figures impact all modules within AdviceOS, including Cashflow & Capital and other strategy modules, as well as all Product modules.

This pages includes figures for:

  1. Age Pension age
  2. Assets & Income tests for homeowners, non-homeowners and singles/couples
  3. Pension rates
  4. Deeming rates
  5. Minimum required pension payment amounts based on client age
  6. Life expectancy

 


Tax

The Tax tab shows all relevant information on legislation related to tax and specific thresholds that may impact your clients circumstances. These are updated annually and based on the legislation set by the ATO. They include:

  1. Marginal tax rates
  2. Government co-contribution
  3. Senior and pensioner tax offset
  4. Super guarantee rates
  5. Contribution caps
