Tasks and Workflows

Introduction


The tasks and workflows section of AdviceOS can be located by navigating to Mega Menu > User Management > Tasks and workflows.

This area of AOS allows you to manage, view and report on any active or closed tasks & workflows, as well as creating new tasks and workflows. This user guide does not cover task templates or creating workflows from scratch, information on these processes can be found within the Settings section.

Tasks

This section is for users to manage existing and create a new tasks. For example, you would be able to view and manage all tasks assigned to a user in your practice from this screen.

The task displayed here will not be part of the workflow tasks.

You can filter based on each criteria for example: category, assigned to, or search by client's name.



1) You can search tasks under category, assigned to, status, and period

2) You can search specific client name for the task

3) This will filter any task related to your "selected" client (on the left navigation pane) 

4) You can create new task if you need to from this screen
      

The task categories are coming from pre-created templates (settings/templates/task templates) or you can create a new task template as well.


Workflows

This section is very similar to the task section.

You can manage existing and create new workflows from this page.

If the task is part of a workflow then you can manage and view the existing workflow from this section.



1) The pencil button allows you to view workflow details 


2) The  button allows you to "terminate" the workflow

3) The manage workflows button will display manage workflows box




Workflow Tasks

This section allows you to manage your task that is part of a workflow.

You can do your filter criteria on the top and click update report.





User Notes

This section allows you to create a note for the user (not a client).

If you want to create a note for yourself for example a reminder, you can do so in this section.
