Trigger a Recommendation

This guide will show our users the steps to take to trigger a recommendation where an existing insurance cover is being increased, decreased or maintained.

1. Go to Needs Analysis > ‘Product recommendations’ tab.

2. Under the ‘View insurance by’ drop down menu, select the ‘Status – Inforce’ option.

3. To alter any one of the existing insurances, select the ‘Clone product’ button.

4. Under the ‘Cover details’ section, select from the ‘cover advice’ drop down whether the insurance type is being increased, decreased or maintained. Add the new cover amounts and premiums and click SAVE. Generate the report as normal from Planbuilder.
